So we've got Ark up and running, and we've gotten to the setup wizard. This part of the walkthrough will guide you through using the setup wizard.

Here is the first screen on the setup wizard:

This is KPersonalizer. It's very straight forward, but if you'd like a play-by-play of what this wizard is for, keep on reading.

This first screen of the wizard is the Introduction. Read through it if you want. Make sure it's set to your country and language, then click Next. You'll then be able to select what interface you're used to:

You can select the Operating System you're used to. It will set the keyboard shortcuts to be as close as possible to your operating system, and will set your mouse to act the way it does as in your operating system. For this walkthrough, however, we will use the default Ark Linux interface, this is the recommended if you've never used a computer before.

Once you make your selection, click Next. You will then see the Eyecandy-O-Meter:

You can drag the slider in the meter to the left if you're running Ark on an older CPU or to the right if you're using a newer CPU. You can also click the Show Details button to fine-tune the eyecandy. This walkthrough will use the default position on the meter.

Next we will see the visual style selector:

You can select your desired visual style here by clicking it in the list. It will give you a preview of the style below the list. Once again, this walkthrough will use the default, but it is recomended that you use the one that is most pleasing to your eyes.

Next we will see the end of the wizard:

If you want, you can read through this. Next, click Finish. You will see Ark loading your desktop:

You will now see your Ark Linux Desktop!
